I am so sad to inform my friends and family of this news. My uncle Kirby Ludvigson was in a terrible car accident on Thursday January 15. He was traveling home on I-15 when he was rear-ended. He was sent over a 40 foot embankment. He was lifeflighted to IMC hospital and is still in critical condition. He is so lucky to be alive, however his spine was severed and he is paralyzed from his mid-waist down. He also is suffering 10 broken ribs a collapsed lung and possible head trauma. I have visited him several times. Every time I see him it is so hard. The first day he could hear me I think because he fluttered his eyes. Yesterday he was in a deep sleep. He has had surgery to fuse his spine back together. The neurosurgeon said his break was the worst he has ever encountered. We are all in shock about this life changing event. Kirby was also my Grandma's caretaker, so this is especially hard on her. We are all praying for Kirby to make a speedy recovery. My cousins are so brave! I love you Brooke, Sonja, Heidi, Amberlie, Adam, Michael, and Christian. I have not forgotten about all of your families. Anything you need, let me know. I think of you guys, and Kirby everday.
